I love to cook so many things..but I guess my two faves are chicken pot pie & spaghetti sauce with meatballs. I love iced tea!

I totally love cooking and doubt I could come up with a "favorite." I guess anything that I make totally from scratch and can use my KitchenAid Mixer. I've been making lots of bread since I got it! All sorts from rolls to French Bread for a spaghetti dinner. And my favorite wine would probably Willamette Valley Vineyards White Riesling. But I also love Pinot Grigio....

Oh sister--you and I would be in BIG trouble with the WVVWR!!! It is one of my favorites too! We need to plan a dinner and serve Amie a bunch of 'nasty' stuff! lol

Yeah...cuz I can down a bottle of that like it's Kool Aid! Love, love, love it! We could always serve Amie 'nasty' stuff....but getting her to actually eat it is another story.....lol!

Ok, i'm sure some will object to this being a cooked meal (i'm a girl on-the-go, and quick is best for me!)-- but i'm all about chicken (with lemon spritzed on top) wrapped up in aluminum and throwing that into the oven as i make a mustard vinaigrette. when the chicken is done (we're talking 10mins tops), i toss up a salad, throw in some walnuts and dried cranberries, chicken on top, and then drizzle that heavenly mustard vinaigrette on top. it's a mouthful of flavor, but it's so good!

not a huge wine drinker here, but i'll second kristin on that long island iced tea after a long day! lol

Wow! How is the chicken cut up and what temp do you put the oven on? That sounds wonderful! And if hard alcohol didn't make me sick within seconds, i'd love the long island iced teas too! They are yummy!!

oh, you have no idea. i cut it up into slices, preheat the oven to 375, and then (ok, it takes a little bit more than 10mins), leave it in there for 35mins, and you're good to go.

i love to sprinkle a little bit of fresh lemon juice when it comes out, and then a dash of sea salt.

lol, and in response to the long islands, they certainly are yummy! lethal though.

I hope so, because I was feeling pretty creative!  With summer well on its way, I’m getting into the fresh food groove and inspired to try some quick, simple recipes. The bright hues of the vegies reminded me of a garden party, which in turn made me remember I need to sew a few summer table [...]
