This weeks question seems to be a good place to pick up from the 'same mistakes or new ones' discussion we had last week--

I am in. Actually I did a scare the poop out me thing today. I created a whole network for our 2 year residents to talk and communicate with each other and their faculty teachers for our curriculum. It was so much work and I have never done it before but I did and it is really cool.

I am so excited to do a craft challenge this week I havent scrapped or did anything of the sort since our NSD challange. :) I am in need of some craft time.

OK, I'm in. I did the scary thing today. I confronted my daughter about my granddaughter's medication. It all worked out fine, but you know kids, they think we are meddling when we are trying to help. I have a 20 hour crop this weekend, so I am sure I will try something new.

I am living the life of both. Action, yes I want to make a point in my life to make things better. But living my life with reaction is bad but i live it. Going to get over this hump and come out on top. Youll see

Ok, I'm in. I did the scare the poop out of me thing yesterday. . . I had a mammogram last week and they called me back in because they saw something "suspicious" and wanted more films. . .I was never so scared walking in there, but apparently they couldn't see it again, or it's just normal tissue, because they told me that they couldn't find anything and let me go on my merry way. It was all I could do to not start to cry with relief right there - but I did wait until I was in the parking lot! :)

Whoa Lisa! That TOTALLY qualifies as a poop scaring experience!!!

Glad your ok and all is well...and hey--aren't you a bit young for having your mammograms yet? i mean, i know its really never too young, but you don't look 40.

Aren't you sweet! I actually have a family history of breast cancer, so I had a baseline mammogram at 35, another at 38, and yes, now I'm 40 so now I start with the annual ones.

Lisa, so happy to hear that everything turned out well. I had a false positive once myself - ended up with a needle biopsy but thank God it was all fine. Just some funny tissue or something!

Okay, I did something anxiety provoking, wouldn't call it terrifying, but it was definitely anxiety provoking. I joined Weight Watchers. Might seem trivial, but to me it was monumental. I consider myself a food addict, and have been dealing with the stress and fear over my friend Eligio with food. No big surprise here. Anyway, it's time to take care of myself, not something I do naturally.

Tonight I'm off to take a Tim Holtz class (making 3D flowers with grungeboard) and that will have to qualify as my creative activity other than a trip to CK Manchester on Saturday

Carol - way to go! And it's not trivial at all. Losing weight is one of the hardest things I've ever attempted. Hey, let's keep track of each other. I was gonna keep this a secret for a while, but since you're my buddy I'll spill. . .I started Nutrisystem on April 28 and I'm already down almost 8 pounds. . .my first goal is 30 (but I have a lot more to go than that). I'll be your cheerleader if you'll be mine, k? :)

Lisa, sounds good to me. Good luck! 8 pounds is a fabulous start!

Carol, I started with nutri system and lost 20 lbs in one month and the rest has been on weight watchers....I love it...and my total loss is around 73 lbs.....and that was such a huge thing for me to do...getting off of insulin and all the stress I was under...it is like I have been set free....I know the meaing of not taking care of yourself...I have done that for years....but no more...I am staying like I am right now....let me know if you need any tips....I will help anyway I can....same to you to Lisa Lou...hugs Shelia

Hey Jenn, thanks for this. I've been meaning to crack open some of the goodies I bought last Friday at the expo in NJ, but everyday I found "something" that needed to get done. Not only am I gonna get them open but I am gonna try one new item on my sister's birthday card. Thanks!

Is Potato Leek Soup Crafty?

I hope so, because I was feeling pretty creative!  With summer well on its way, I’m getting into the fresh food groove and inspired to try some quick, simple recipes. The bright hues of the vegies reminded me of a garden party, which in turn made me remember I need to sew a few summer table [...]
