this would be my VERY neglected backyard that was beautiful by the end of April last year! note that it is now May 19th.

still needing to clean up the dining room from the memorial vignette i did on friday

but at least the family does have SOME clean clothes albeit a little wrinkled.

please know that even though my house is WASTED right now, it isn't always like this! lol--just thought you'd enjoy sharing in my misery...since its all your fault anyways!

I need to go back to Jackie boot camp, I missed the Lysol tip when she was teaching me! LOL!! But I do windex my faucets after cleaning them to make the chrome shine! :)
Now that I have granite and stainless steel, I need tips to make those shine! She'll be home today for a short break from camping and then she'll be taking Gracie back with them!! The boys will go on the weekends for the next two weeks. I'm so excited to be getting some much needed ME time!!! Right now, Gracie is hounding me to use the computer!!LOL!

Oh Jen it has taken me 8 years of marriage to appreciate her wanting to help. The past year I have been OK with it. I finally realized she had a gift I didn't have. I have the gift of messiness and she has the gift of cleanliness. I make her things though and she is happy!

It is funny b/c I have really grown to love her over the past year to year and a half.

I will post my messes later, maybe tomorrow.

My home office which by the way is in my bedroom until my husband builds me an outside one. Talk about bad feng shui.

The 10 loads of laundry that I managed to get clean but not folded and put away. My kids have been picking through it for days for clean socks and underwear.

The view from my office/bedroom window of the garden, half weeded, and not planted along with our grass growing over the rubble from our house remodel 7 years ago. Did I mention that my husband is a landscaper.

So Jen, is this making you feel better. Your pics sure made my day! xoxoxo
