Do Any Of You Girls Sew?

Just curious if any of you girls sew? It has become like therapy for me and I love it now that I have it somewhat figured out. LOL! My girls love the outfits I make for them and get upset when I make outfits for other people. LOL!

If you sew, what do you sew? Are you addicted to collecting fabric like I am? I will try and take a picture of my stash later today. Now remember I just started this stash. LOL!

I took several years of sewing in junior high and high school so learned all the "rules." I sewed my own clothes for years and then my kids clothes until they thought store bought was better. I even made my own wedding gown. Now I mostly sew for home decorating or costumes and in my scrapbooks. It used to be cheaper to make your own clothes but I don't think it is so much anymore.

I sewed so much more when DD was little. Loved to make awesome halloween costumes! I ebb and flow on the scrapbooking thing so I like to mix it up. Been doing some knitting and just bought some patterns and fabric last week to sew for the first time in probably 5 years!

Oh and I agree with Mary Ann. I about died when I saw patterns had gone up to 15 and 16 dollars! Of course I got them on special at Joanne's for 99 cents a piece. I think the last time I purchased a pattern they were like 7 or 8 dollars.
