I love digital scrapbooks, in fact I made and emailed 3 smilebox albums last week. They make it SO easy. It is just drag and drop and you can pick from thousands of templates and it's even mac compatible. I've made 11 total since I signed up with it and I know I've never made that many real scrapbooks! They have a free version or a paid membership version.

What kind of digital scrapbooks do some of you ladies like to make? I'd love to hear about it :o)

Hey Ashley - I really just started around September. I do lots of page layouts using photoshop elements 5.0. I have downloaded tons of kits from the web. I am on a creative team for a designer, trying to learn more. I really want to get into the designing end of digital, but I'm not sure I'm "smart" enough to learn it. I found a few great sites that have tutorials, but haven't had the time to explore them.

Kim,
That sounds great and I'm sure you'd be great at the design end of digital since you're so passionate about it. Do you have any layouts you could share with us?

If you go to my blog, I do have some posted there. I haven't updated for a while. I had sick kids, then the holiday madness, now I'm getting to where I can get back to reality and post more. It was my plan today, but will probably be updated tomorrow. http://kreatingwithkim.blogspot.com. Let me know what you think...oh and here is my picasa site - it may have something my blog doesn't: http://picasaweb.google.com/kreatingwithkim/KimSDigitalCreations#

Ashley, can you share the link where you found the templates? I'm looking for something quick and easy to finish a project with my daughter's wedding photos.

Thanks!

Mona - my stepmother found various QPs around the internet and did some gorgeous pages for an album for her sister. They were all freebies to download too.

Hi ladies, anyone still on?

I have done several books by having my layouts printed at sbtoshare.com. Then I use my unibind to make them into a book. It's cheaper to have them printed than to print at home if you do several at a time. There are also lots of places that will print them and bind them in a book for you. They make great gifts.

Hi Ladybug,
Can you have it printed on the big 12x12 paper for a 12x12 sized album?

I usually print my own but at 8 x 8 layouts. I create them as 12 x 12 though and just create a duplicate copy that I can scale down to 8 x 8. I heard Costco's is a good place to get 12 x 12 prints.

Hey Ashley...thanks for spreading the word about www.smilebox.com. THEY ROCK!!! AND if any of you'll are bloggers and want to send me your email address...I can send it along to them and hook you up with a free premium membership. Did you pay for it Ashley?

The cool thing about the premium version is that you have WAY more music choices and can upload any of your itunes songs to go with the slideshows and it allows you to print, post to a blog or website and save as jpegs so you can use them elsewhere (ahem...like in ZoomAlbums...hint, hint). Cool stuff!

Hey Ellen,
I've just been using the free version so far. I've wanted to try the premium membership but my hubby's been off work for a month now and even though the yearly membership price is reasonable, food is more important right now, LOL!! :o)

Is Potato Leek Soup Crafty?

I hope so, because I was feeling pretty creative!  With summer well on its way, I’m getting into the fresh food groove and inspired to try some quick, simple recipes. The bright hues of the vegies reminded me of a garden party, which in turn made me remember I need to sew a few summer table [...]

Love love love Shelly’s tutorial on how-to crochet flowers. And let me tell you what, they are HOT STUFF right now.
