Local honey treatments for allergies? I've been doing a little research regarding allergies lately and have found an interesting treatment using honey. From what I understand if you take 2 teaspoons of local, unpasturized, un processed natural honey that is collected and from bees in your area - you have a good chance of eliminating allergy symptoms. Of course, local beekeepers know about this treatment and from what I understand it's very popular in Florida. Just curious if anyone has had any luck or any insight into this?

I just heard about this and tracked down a place to buy some local honey here - well, as close to local as I can get. :) I'm hoping to try this for two of my kids and my hubby who suffer from allergies. :) I think it makes sense. The bees gather from the local flowers.

Plus, the raw honey is supposed to be the best for natural remedies. :)
