Terri, I asked my Mother in Law what she used to use when they lived in the country and had a well and horrible water with stains and rust in the toilet and tub. She said it was called stain bully and they had a septic tank too. I remember using it once and it was amazing!!!

Did I hear that spraying on Listerine is good for getting rid of mosquitoes?

LOL Kris!! I agree, I hate spiders!! Anything to keep them away!

I tried some mosquito repellent on my fam and I down by the river this evening, it worked great! It was called OFF smooth and dry, it dries with a smooth finish not all sticky and it smelled good too. Even though I don't really like the idea of putting poison on my kids or myself, I also don't like the idea of getting west Nile disease and itching from millions of mosquitoes either.
Have any of you used any natural mosquito repellents AND, have they worked? I tried skin so soft from Avon before but it didn't work.

I'll join this group, but I'm not sure I can be much help with the cleaning info...just isn't one of my strong suits! I use a lot of window cleaner (probably on stuff I shouldn't) and Pine Sol. BTW, someone told me that spiders don't like Pine Sol (the original kind). I'll try anything that will keep the spiders away!

I lhave never used simple green. I like using awesome orange from the Dollar Tree it works on stains, grease etc too. It sounds like they are simliar product. I need something for the stains from our icky water well, my stuff works on some issues, but we have yellow/brown stains in toilet and mainly on shower bottom which is plastic like. I havent tried bleach because of septic system dont know if we are allowed too. I love bleach for some cleaning. Any ideas?

Anyone that uses Simple Green is all right by me! It works great at getting oil and grease stains out of laundry, my ex was a mechanic so I know! Mean Green is pretty great too, just don't leave it on anything painted for very long.
