Today, more than any other, for some reason, I feel like a Wonder Woman. I am the mother of two children (9 mo. girl and 5 year old boy) and they keep me busy. I also have a 19 year old stepson who lives in Georgia. However, like most days, I feel that he lives with us - KWIM!! On top of that, I work outside the home full time. I am also a wife to my wonderful (I really mean that) husband. I don't think I would be sane without him. Lastly, I just joined the I Remember When sas family in January 2008 (I know, what was I thinking!) but I love it. For some reason, I seem to better manage my time when I am busy. But the key for me is the help that I receive from my "wonderful" husband and family!

Wonder woman, yea that's me only w/o the great hair and body she had. I am wondering why I am still up, having a glass of wine ( oh sorry, that's from another group) when I should be in bed resting for another fun filled day. I am the mom of 3 boys (18, 12 & 10), work full time as a Physical Therapist Asst/ Rehab manager, part time doing home health therapy and IRW.
I am wondering when I can come home from work and just plop down in the recliner and do absolutely nothing.
Life is good.

I think the only reason I qualify for this group is for the simple fact, that I'm a woman and I get up each morning and "wonder" what the new day will bring....... I just finished watching Barbara Walter's special on "living to be 150" and I must admit that that is a very scarey (how do you spell that silly word) thought. The thought of living to be a 100 was scarey enough, but 150 yikes! I "wonder" what the price of gas will be then - not that it would matter much, I doubt many of us would be driving at that age. I wish I could go for the one glass of red wine a day ritual, but it gives me migraine...... aaargh. Maybe I'd live longer, but with migraines it would just seem longer. I "wonder" if white wine works as well - I just might have to give it a try. As an 8 year cancer survivor, each day is a gift. I don't look forward, I just enjoy each day as much as I can in the here and now. Both my children are grown, but I remember the days of carpooling, getting a hot meal on the table each evening (yes, I was pretty old fashioned), but I remember advice I received from a friend to the effect, that the tail was not meant to wag the dog. We all have to understand and have the courage to admit to ourselves that we can't be everything, to everybody, everyday. Learn to give yourself permission to say "no", sometimes and I'll see you on the golf course at 150! I'll be the one with the camera taking your photo for the universal, holographic world album :)

Hi All!
Not sure where to start. I like to say I am a SAHM, but sometimes doesn't seem that way. I have a 6 and 8 year old and a 39 year old husband who can be more work than the kids! I work from home for ZoomAlbum. I own a tie-dye business and make and sell recycled bottle cap jewelry. I teach skiing on the weekends in the winter. I volunteer at my daughter's school and teach social skills lessons in my son's Montessori Kindergarten for a tuition break (I used to be a School Counselor). I also have active kids who ski, swim, play soccer and softball, so far. I once had a palm reader tell me that I was most productive when I am multi-tasking. I guess I must have believed her. I would welcome tips on balance and becoming more organized.

Hi Everyone!
I am a SAHM to three. My husband is a workaholic and I have a bad habit of volunteering too much. My kids are 10 (this month), 7 and 4. They are involved in everything from baseball to equestrian lessons. I spend most of my life in the kitchen and grab what little time is left for blogging, photography and scrapbooking.

I'll be seeking PT work soon. My family business just closed our doors after 35 years. I used to be the buyer for animal/pet-related hard goods. Now I'm looking for something to challenge me in more creative ways!

I am supposed to be a SAHM but I am never home for some reason. I have a 2 year old (3 in May) and a 5 year old (6 in June). My 2 year old is freshly potty trained, yipee! My 5 year old is about to graduate kinder.

In my "spare" time I sew clothes for them and others. I also try and scrapbook. I love embroidery and use that as a way to have "mad money" to spend on fabric. LOL!

Let's see...
I am a stay at home mom to four boys, 11, 4 1/2 y.o. twins and a 13 month old. I do IRW and teach sbing classes at a couple of local stores. I may have to get a part time job also to help pay the bills. The housing market has not been kind to us.

Linda White Comment by Linda White on April 1, 2008 at 8:35am
I raised three kids (2 boys and a girl) and worked full time. My youngest (daughter) will graduate college next month. Somehow we managed to get everything done...school, work, soccer, and still keep it together. It was worth it though!

I hope so, because I was feeling pretty creative!  With summer well on its way, I’m getting into the fresh food groove and inspired to try some quick, simple recipes. The bright hues of the vegies reminded me of a garden party, which in turn made me remember I need to sew a few summer table [...]
