Favorite hobby today--
scrapping, card-making, singing, songwriting, reading, cooking, other crafts, sewing, shopping, being with my little girl
What would your friends be most surprised to learn about you?
I am an open book. My friends know pretty much everything about me. People who are just meeting me might not know that I have written about 60 songs, and have recording a tape of myself singing and playing guitar. Four of the songs are my own, and 4 were written by other people. I did all the vocals and guitar and paid someone to play piano. The guy at the studio played drums on one track and sang back-up on one track. I also sang with a gospel group that traveled up and down the east coast for 2 years. I sang on 2 of their tapes.
What goal do you want to accomplish in the next 12 months?
To work on my wedding album and start my daughter's album. I am also working on getting my master's degree in special education.
How did you hear about Cr8tv?
From some girls at a crop at Memory Lane in Ranson, WV.

Hey Dawn! You and I share a lot of the same interests! That's so awesome that you have written 60 songs and traveled up and down the east coast. That must have been a great experience. I wish I could play guitar! I really really hope to learn some time in the near future. I picked up that book "Guitar for Dummies" recently...haha. Well, it's a good start isn't it?

Whoa that sounds YUMMY!! I'm a devastated chunky white chick who just found out a few months ago that she was Wheat/Gluten intolerant, so i've been off of cooking for a while (its called depression lol), but i've been feeling the urge to try some new stuff and just use gluten free flour...this one sounds YUMMY!!!!

Hi! People describe me as a scrapbooking over-achiever. I would probably describe myself as crazy busy!!! Hee! Hee! My favorite recipe (today) is a VERY rich chocolate cake that it called chocolate syrup cake. It's layers are moist and brownie-like and the icing is made from chocolate chips and is almost like a layer of fudge over top. VERY sweet and VERY good. There's no such thing as to chocolately for me, but some people might describe this as too chocolatey!!! I teach Home Ec., so I'm really into collecting wonderful recipes and cookbooks. But I'm so busy that I have to have recipes that are fast, easy, and tasty. I love 30 Day Gourmet. If you've never heard of it, it's really a great way to cook.
