LOL!!! Thanks Mel, I'd love to see it! This Summer when it's hot, you'll be looking at that quilt and wanting it to be a dress again! I guess you'll have to make another dress too! :o)

The TOTE DIRECTIONS!

Rag Tote Directions.doc

Here are the directions for the rag tote. They are in Word. Please let me know if you have any questions. I will try to answer them as best as I can. I basically make each tote from scratch with an idea in my head, so putting it down on paper was sometimes difficult. I will continue to tweak the directions as you a… Continue

Sewing/craft room ideas needed...

I am currently sewing in our bedroom because my designated craft/sewing room is completely full and unorganized. After I finish this last quilt (I hope it will be done on Saturday), I have promised myself and my Husband that I will not start another until the room is put together. Directions for the rag tote...

I have been asked about patterns and directions for the tote. Well I don't use patterns but I can put together some directions for you all. I will put together a tutorial of sorts because it is easier to see it then for me to tell you all in text. Give me a couple of days as I am knee deep in a quilt right now. It will be the perfect time for me to picture the different steps involved in making a simple tote. (I need to make one any way!)

Is Potato Leek Soup Crafty?

I hope so, because I was feeling pretty creative!  With summer well on its way, I’m getting into the fresh food groove and inspired to try some quick, simple recipes. The bright hues of the vegies reminded me of a garden party, which in turn made me remember I need to sew a few summer table [...]

Crocheted Flowers Everywhere!

Love love love Shelly’s tutorial on how-to crochet flowers. And let me tell you what, they are HOT STUFF right now.
