It is great to "meet" you. I am in the process of trying to simplify my life also and the problem is I have to much stuff. LOL! So I am trying to sell it or give it away to people who might need it. Have you read the book "Serve God, Save the Planet: A Christian Call To Action"?

hello All, some of the things that i have started going green with are: from teflon back to cast iron, started using lots of vinegar, baking soda, borax, cornstarch, hydrogen peroxide, lemons and ammonia, all are great for cleaning and disinfecting, and if i remember correctly they are all natural not chemicals.

There are many awesome sites out there......use google and surf away.

thank you all for the nice welcome:

a lil bout me, 51 yrs old, married, 2 wonderful kids(son, 34 and daughter, 24), 2 beautiful granddaughters(5 1/2 yrs and 1 1/2 yrs, belong to son), and 1 very handsome grandson, 3 1/2 yrs old, belongs to daughter.

i enjoy family, genealogy(doing it since 1996) biking, walking, online chat, crafting and now i have started greening my home as well as curb shopping, trashing, junking or whatever one choose to call it. i have made a few blue jean totes, glass totems, serving tray, and presently working on a bench from a headboard/foot board.

again, thank you for the nice welcome
