I flew out of Orlando on the evening of Tuesday June 3rd. Headed out to Dallas-Fort Worth airport to meet my "crew" from Advantus. We stayed at the Crowne Pointe Suites in Arlington and I got my own room because I snore!! Love it! I guess it's a blessing that I snore...no one wants to room with me! My oldest son was baptized Wednesday night. His best friend, James, did the dunking!! He has been studying the Bible for a while and was finally ready to give his life to God. We are so proud of his decision. It is such a great thing for my other sons to see...a great role model for them.

I am overjoyed at how this little fabric collage turned out. I will be teaching a fabric journal class very soon at My Creative Classroom and this is a big teaser for it! It measures only about 4" x 4-1/2". There's fabric, sewing, beading, paper stamping, mica, felt...I love it!!!

DS#3 gets to have "metal mouth" again...he had the whole appliance thing in 5th grade and someone had the bright idea to take him out of it...well, if the orthodontist says it will take "X" amount of time, wouldn't you think he would be right? He is now at the end of 8th grade and goes back into the appliance again today. Poor thing. He really is a good sport about it, though...the girls at school think he's cute!!! Whatever!!!

Well, even though I have three teen boys, the Easter Bunny still comes to our house. I think they would think I was the worst momo in the world if I didn't make sure he came...AND he's gotta hide the candy-laden baskets all over the house in the most bestest hiding spot...Don't tell them you know. I still check out eBay now and then. I am actually looking for a Girl Scout Manual...I wish I would have saved all of that from when I was a kid. I love the vintage look and memorabilia like that is right up my alley! Can't wait ti start playing with my new "finds"!!!
