Relief, please????

Well, I got the results of my MRI about two weeks ago and have been waiting for the hospital to call me for an appt. I do have a herniated disk. They don't want to do surgery as I'm able to function, just in pain and I don't have numbness in my legs which is a sign that it's severe enough to warrant the risk of surgery...so I'm scheduled to go Friday morning to have a cortizone injection. Update on my back

Ok - so I went to the specialist a week ago Thursday - he thinks I either have a herniated disk or some hip joint issues, so yesterday I went to have an MRI...I have an appt with the specialist again on Monday to go over the results - so no real news yet, but at least I'll know what it is soon... I also had a physical this past week and had blood work done - good to know at least all of those results were normal. :) Continue

Our new kitties...

Our youngest kitty, Sammie, had her babies last weekend...she had them under Rachel's bed early in the morning on Saturday. Jessika and Kasey were both gone at friends so they missed it...I heard the kitties meowing and went and looked, it was about 7 am...we saw three at first, then moved some stuff under the bed and there was one more off by itself. My back...

So, back in February I threw out my back and I've been having trouble with it ever since. Actually, I hurt it in July of 2005, BAD muscle spasms and was in bed for about a week...well, this time the pain was much worse and I ended up in the emergency room literally not able to move...it was awful. Anyway, I've been going to physical therapy since then and have been on anti-inflammatory medicine, as my back is still swollen.
