Baby number 2 is a boy and is due May 12! We are extremely excited and I am getting more and more impatient everyday. We have a vintage Mickey sports theme in his nursery and we are ready for him to arrive (well as ready as we can be I guess) :)

Well I can honestly say I am farther ahead then usual but I think its becuase we (DH and I) are not participating in the family gift exchange on his side. So my husbands boss (Jayne) needed a comment box for a company conference thing so I made one. Super simple not fancy by any means and she loved it. Now she has recruited me to make 5 books and 6 additional layouts as Christmas gifts. My father in law is doing well with chemo so far although he has some trouble sleeping but refuses to take the sleeping pills the doctor gave him. I tell ya sometimes its really frustrating to be in the healthcare field and deal with sick family, I think I dont have nearly as much pateince with family as I do actual patients. but that is another story. hahahaha.

So apparently its National Nurses week so we had a last minute pot luck lunch for them today, and when I say last minute I mean it was planned yesterday and on top of having to go home make dinner and figure out what to make for the pot luck I was also asked to make the cards. My my mother in law, well technically my step mother in law passed away on Wed and its been a pretty rough weekend. We spent most of the last 5 days with my father in law who isnt handeling this very well and has health issues himself. On top of trying to arrange everything and comfort my father in law we are in the middle of this whole Invitro thing and its been difficult trying to do both. lots of stress which is not good for IVF. So this may be a little TMI but too bad its a blog right. We decided to take the plunge again and try IVF (in-vitro fertilization) for a 2nd baby. I started my 2 shots a night on Friday and that has been going o.k. (what can I say it really sucks) but hopefully it will all be worth it right. I am sitting here watching Hopkins, its a new series filmed in the John Hopkins hospital and I am watching these parents of a 2-year-old go from having an otherwise healthy little boy to an extremly sick little boy in need of a heart transplant and I just cant figure out how they find the strength to deal with something so devestating everyday.

Life is just really busy all the time. There are just not enough hours in the day. I came to work fully time and I do have to say I really love my job but I am so busy here its crasy. What a weekend, its only 4:00 on Friday and I am already exhausted!! DH and I run a brat booth for our youth group every year at the Franklin 4th carnival! We sell brats, hot dogs, roast beef, nachos, ice cream, soda, and water. Its totally crazy but it raises the money for the kids to go on the mission trip each year so it's worth it. So I will be attending the Midwest IRW retreat in the Wisconsin Dells this weekend!!! Yipppeee. I am leaving today at 3. I wish I could go earlier but in the Trauma Center we have 3 seasons, Fall, Winter and Trauma. So we are super busy and I am lucky to get out tha early.

So lately DH and I have been talking about babies. Meredith is 2 now and we have been thinking maybe she needs a sibling now. So we found a power wheel truck on craig's list for Meredith today. She is going to love driving that around. DH is on his way to pick up so plastic cleaner to polish it all up for her. Hopefully it doesnt rain now so she can drive it. I will take some pics and post them later.
