Ok, so yesterday my daughter got her report card..so it was not her usual straight A's..mostly B's..I am not thrilled with that- she is in accelerated classes and we expect more than that. ok,...so yes it's been a while. I am thrilled to see the site back again! Well..we hit temps close to 100 this weekend..it was rather WARM! We had plans to head down to Jersey to see my mother in law and brothers in law. So every summer here in the city they have a ton of free stuff going on ..and because our lives here are oh so empty and since we have practically NOTHING to do (please note the sarcasm!)..we decided that this summer we were going to hit the local park and see the movies on Monday nights and the concerts on Thursday nights. Well, all I can say is I AM SO GLAD JUNE IS OVER!!!!!!!! Ok, so the month was exhausting, but mostly fun. Kait was so excited to have her party at the American Girl Place in Manhattan. Can you tell from the title it was a busy weekend? Well, my daughter is a Girl Scout and our troop doesn't do very much together, so we go on our own. This time, I managed to convince a friend of mine and ONE of the moms to come along! So we got our minimum group of ten people. Ohhhh..so I quit my job last Nov and have been a stay at home mom. So a group of us INI CAPINI, Yvette, Rosie and I went to the Memories Expo in NJ. In the past I have worked this Expo..it's usually alot of fun..with LOTS of new product and some reasonably good show specials of which we can take advantage.

Yesterday was Missy's wedding...wow..what a great evening. She looked so pretty! He looked so happy...it could not have been better. Michelle and I spent a few evenings in her house making everything from boutennieres to bouquets, the arch, the headpieces, the veils, the favors, the centerpieces...just about everything.
