Well it sure has been awhille since I have posted anything here, but I received an email and it reminded me of how much I have enjoyed being here and that I need to come back and get back into the swing of things.
Since Jan 1 I have accomplished 185 pages, huge accomplishment, but I do need to get done what I can prior to going back to work fulltime. Once that happens I am not sure how many pages I will get finished.
Some days while I am scrapping I dream about what colour I am going to do my room when I get at it in the late summer or fall. I am tossing a nice butter yellow with white trim or maybe a mango with white trim. I love the idea of the mango, but my common sense jumps in and says to go traditional. Whats a girl to do .
I will definately paint the trim, and my new storage my dad made white, but the walls, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 'Well I better scoot and get finished the contracts for the boss so I can scrap tomorrow
See you all soon

Nice to meet you Jeanne. I may have made a dent but have so many pictures to do, that I will never be caught up. Which is ok, since I dont plan on ever giving up this wonderful hobby

Ok ladies I posted a few of my layouts that I have done this winter. They are a very random selection of pictures though. I just grab and scrap what ever moves me at the time.

Hi, Sue! Jen Grant (our leader) just told me about your blog, said it reminded her of ME! If you take a look at my page (photos) you will see my craft/sewing room.....sunny yellow with white trim and furniture with blue accents. Hopefully your room is bigger than mine as I have crammed a lot into a 12 X 17' space. I built the cutting table myself and is the best part of the whole room. My daughter says the color is too bright, but I think of it as sunny. I spend hours in there and it is so cozy on a rainy day (we have lots of those). It took me 5 mos. to paint, build, shop for file cabinets and sewing table and move into that space, but it was worth it. I found the furniture at a used office supply - lateral files painted with white oil based enamel and a mahogany desk with a huge overhang top that I distressed for a "shabby chic" look. I use one side for sewing and the other side for crafting. I ordered the cutting surface for the big table from an architectural supply online. With the addition of a TV, VCR and Mr.Tea machine, I can LIVE in there! Good luck with your room.

Is Potato Leek Soup Crafty?

I hope so, because I was feeling pretty creative!  With summer well on its way, I’m getting into the fresh food groove and inspired to try some quick, simple recipes. The bright hues of the vegies reminded me of a garden party, which in turn made me remember I need to sew a few summer table [...]
