A new begining in many ways
2009 has gotten off with a kick! I havent been blogging lately naughty me. Anyway a quick update on my life
Baby number 2 is a boy and is due May 12! We are extremely excited and I am getting more and more impatient everyday. We have a vintage Mickey sports theme in his nursery and we are ready for him to arrive (well as ready as we can be I guess) :)
My daughter turns 3 next month. I cant even begin to believe that. She continues to crack me up everyday and I truely think she believes she is 16 rather than 3. Dont most girls?
Some sad news is that I got an e-mail from the president of Xyron on Monday March 9 letting us know that I Remember When was closing its doors that evening. Very sad but at the same time it gave me an excuse to try something new. It never really was the same after Jen left anyway (I love ya girl). So with that news I really debated what to do next. I didnt want to give up on Scrapbook consultanting entirely but what the heck do I pick. I looked at a few companies in the past and had some that I liked and some I didnt. I ended up going with AC Bailey designs. I talked with another IRW consultant/ friend who was currently with them and she had such wonderful things to say about the owner there and the company that I thought why not try it. So now I need to clean out my craft room (well overdue) and reorganize my business. Exciteing and terrifying at the same time.
Wish me luck. Lots of changes to come. :)

Hi Laurie,
don´t worry too much about Xyron. Focus on your baby instead.
I have been working for Xyron/Esselte in Europe for 6 years, and end of Feb. they all of a sudden realized a headcount was needed so a collegue and I got laid off, and I must agree, when Jen left, it wasn't the same any more.....

I can't wait for that healthy little fella to be born so you can post a pic for us to ooooh and ahhhh over!! :o) I LOVE babies can you tell? ;o) heehee My kiddos are all about 3 and a half years apart and it works good for me! I'm shocked about the Xyron news!! Good luck with your new endeavor :o)

- Hi Laurie - I wish you all the luck in the world with your new baby and your new business. When I was with a few scrapbooking companies and they kept going out of business I gave it up, thought maybe I was bad luck or something!! lol It will be exciting for you and will have to check it out, don't think I've heard of that one before.

May will be here before you know it! My oldest and second born were 4 years about...
its a great age for them because they can be such BIG helpers!
