I am soo bad at this....

I just forget to do my blog. So here goes. I am a teacher and this is still summer vacation. I am enjoying it wonderfully. So far we have gone to New York City and the surrounding area. My Aunt and Uncle live in that region so we visited with them for a bit. And took the kids on their first plane rides, they loved them. Esp. my son, who I am sure will be a pilot or an engineer one day. He is soo into that stuff. He even flew in a WWII biplane, paid for it with his own money. It was excellent.

We went to an archery shoot in Marshall Missouri, that was a lot of fun. Well except for the extreme heat. You felt at times like you were melting out there. But I did shot the "running" pig and won that round, beating my husband. He however beat me in the Clout Shoot and even came in 4th in that event. You had to shoot at a pig target that that was 125 yards away. Quite the event.

Next week we get to go to Lake of the Ozarks, my husband has a conference down there, so I will just hang by the wonderful pool during the day. :)

The kids will get to camp with nana and pop pop this week coming up. They are looking forward to that.

Otherwise I am working on my latest class in my masters program. I have a 2-3 page paper to write before wednesday night. So I really should be reading my research, since that is what I got on the computer to do. So everyone have a wonderful evening. :)

That does sound nice, I've always wanted to travel. Unfortunately I get MAJOR sick flying! I'll stick to driving for now :o)
We are having a nice Summer too. We've been getting all kinds of crafty things done which is SO much fun. I always knew there was a crafty bone in my body and now I'm trying EVERYTHING, LOL!!

Definitely...and that is one of the great things about teaching...being able to go here and there. :) I hope you are enjoying your summer as well.
