Maybe if I make my mental 'to do list' public.... I'll get it done!! So here goes ;o)

The first thing I really want to do is have my hubby build a nice book shelf for my daughters room. She has a trundle bed and the bottom is pretty FULL of cute books that can't be seen let alone read!

Second, I've been wanting my hubby to build a bench area with cubbies under it that I can put baskets in for each of us and our things! This will go in the entrance area/front room.

Maybe like these but I'll need more for our family of 5 and it doesn't need the bottom drawers, just square cubbies for baskets.
Hmmm, I'm seeing a theme to my list, this is looking more like a honey do list than a personal to do list! No wonder it's been so hard to get it done! LOL!! Well, maybe if I print this out and put it everywhere my hubby goes ie: tape it in the shower, put it in his book he's been reading, tape it to his steering wheel..... he'll see it enough to want to make me happy!! :o)))

Let's see number 3 on my list is, yep another honey do... I need a truck load of nice soil for my raised garden and my sons. I bought two tomato plants at the school plant sale and they can be planted in about a week when the last frost possibility will hopefully be over.

4. Grace's closet shelves still aren't in her closet! How's a 6 year old supposed to keep her closet clean with no shelves?!? (another 'daddy job' Gracie would say)

5. sweep and mop

6. laundry

7. vacuum the whole house

I guess those last 3 are mine - I'll get right on it so he doesn't have anything to throw back at me when I remind him of his jobs, hee hee!! ;o)

Funny, when I started to read your "to do" list, I was thinking "this is a honey do list", then in the next sentence, you realized it yourself. Good luck, all the "honey does" in this house is watch TV! Maybe you will have better luck than me. I finally just had to learn to use power tools.

I'm about to get the honey dew list written also. Now that he's been back for a week...I think he's ready. :-) Do share what your husband makes for you! :-)

I hope so, because I was feeling pretty creative!  With summer well on its way, I’m getting into the fresh food groove and inspired to try some quick, simple recipes. The bright hues of the vegies reminded me of a garden party, which in turn made me remember I need to sew a few summer table [...]
