Julie,
I just joined over here, but I was excited to see you here. It was so fun to meet you while filming Scrapbook Memories in March. I look forward to seeing all the fun things that happen over here.

WOW Julie - I just realized you are a member here! I love you and your show! I'm not working right now and watch it every day! I'm so glad you are a member here. This site is great and Jennifer has done a fantastic job bringing us all-together.
WOW!
I don't want to sound like a crazy woman, but I sure think you are great. I have been watching your shows and like your gentle way.I actually have your flower paper and transparencies (which I love and haven't used since they are so pretty).
I didn't know you live in Texas, how fun is that. I live in the DFW area and I'm from Germany. I think this is enough know, but I'm sure glad to have found you here.
We taped the 13th series of Scrapbook Memories last week. Each series is different and this time we had lots of digital and hybrid projects. I even did a glass etching project using a digital shape cutter to make a custom stencil and etching cream. The series won't start to air until the end of July, but hope you'll all tune in. In the meantime, please pass the word. Cindy Wyckoff from Scrapbook Dimensions magazine was one of our guest hosts and she did a great job! Jennifer (Grant) has been on the show too, so keep a lookout for her segments. Jennifer and I also did a segment together with Ellen's Zoom albums. They are so much fun to make and Jen and I had a blast. Talking of "blasts", here's another snow picture.
We had snow in Texas this month! 5 inches on March 13th! We built a great snowman. I use the term "we" loosely - the kids did the building and I cheered them on - from inside. and took photos! Romeo loved it!
Well, if most of you are in craft, then this is definitely where I need to be! I've authored over 40 "craft" books since the early nineties and have been a crafter ever since I can remember! I started professionally in the industry with decorative painting books, but there's very few crafts I haven't tried. I had a feature column in Craftworks magazine entitled "Julie's Shoebox Crafts" which ran from 1996 until the magazine became "Scrapbooking and Beyond" a few years ago. Now I'm just a "Hybrid Crafter"................... anything goes!
Hi Julie!!! Hope all is well since the show! Thanks for joining!! Feel free to share all your fun stuff! Although most of us thus far are in craft, this site is really for everything and anything!! Talk to you soon---
I hope so, because I was feeling pretty creative! With summer well on its way, I’m getting into the fresh food groove and inspired to try some quick, simple recipes.

Love love love Shelly’s tutorial on how-to crochet flowers. And let me tell you what, they are HOT STUFF right now. While you perfect your technique, there are a few places you can find them already made for you!

I just put down the March ‘09 issue of Creating Keepsakes Magazine. Wow - bracket frames, stamps, die cuts, journaling spots are HOT STUFF! And I love love love them.
