Hey Paigey!! I still haven't sewn anything!! I'm pretty much disgusted with myself,LOL!! I really need to get inspired again. Hopefully this sunshine we've been having will help with that! My kids are back to school today, so I can clean my house and get some things done around here. My dh was off work for nearly 2 months and at home under foot!! So, I'm beyond ecstatic that he's back to work!! LOL!! But, enough about ME,
How are you doing??? I haven't checked out etsy in a while to see if you have anything on there yet. I'll have to go check today :o) The pink bandana right? It's so great to hear from you!! bye for now~

I've missed you Paige...glad to see you are just busy and all is well. I was just telling Ashley, it doesn't matter if we hs or we send our kids out to school..it only matters that the parents are supportive....keep involved. I hear Classical is a great way to go...especially if you have readers. Our two younger boys are more *hands on* and like to LIVE the experiences! LOL!

My son starts middle school Sept. 2nd and my younger kids go back the next week I think, so it's all about to change.

I think I finally have the Faith top pattern figured out, LOL!! Now, I need to find some cute fabrics that coordinate and then, I can get busy with my first "real" sewing project! Have you been sewing lately? Do you have any pics on Etsy yet? I'd love to see more of your stuff!

Hey Paige..I just noticed you commented on the cubes in my scrapbook room. I though t I'd let you know that I did getthe first set through Oriental Trading..it was like $400 for a group ..BUT..I also found a VERY SIMILAR cube..(also in the pics..they are the ones that I painted the drawers) at ACMoore. They have sales on them all the time- I bought 16 a couple of months ago at only $17 a cube! Normally they are $34. But also..when they are NOT on sale you can use the 40% off coupon you get all the time! Good luck! Hope that makes you smile a little. BTW- your girls are gorgeous! And isn't that the fabric you used in your test video on their dresses?.. SO CUTE! My grandmother used to make ALL our clothes (for me and my sister- we are 3 yrs apart) your pics brought back alot of memories! Thanks!

Hey Paige,
I haven't actually gotten any fabric yet to start the Faith top! LOL!! They did have some cute fabrics, but the lady told me that the Lebanon Quilt store has michael Miller she thinks and I wanted to check that out:o)

Congrats on being accepted for adoption. It must be nerve racking to have people nit picking in your life. I understand being picky about placing a child in a home, but there are limits. Good luck.
Love the outfits for the girls. I used to sew for my kids, but the grandkids are harder. They aren't there to measure and try on, so it is a guessing game if it will fit. Also, their mother and other grandmother buys so many clothes they don't need mine, and I hate spending all that time and energy on a dress just to have it go to the Goodwill next week. I do make jammies tho. Easy to fit!

Where do you buy your fab fabrics? I haven't been to Joanne's fabrics in ages, so I don't know what they have, but I was wondering if you buy yours online or at a store and what are some good brands? I'd like to try to sew something easy like the double layer faith top. In fact, I just downloaded it off youcanmakethis.com.
Thanks, Ashley

I hope so, because I was feeling pretty creative!  With summer well on its way, I’m getting into the fresh food groove and inspired to try some quick, simple recipes. The bright hues of the vegies reminded me of a garden party, which in turn made me remember I need to sew a few summer table [...]
